Respected Sir/ Madam,

My name is Fiona D’Souza and I have a Masters in Fashion Design with great workshops and opportunities. While pursuing my masters, I have done projects in collaboration with well-known fashion house namely, Versus Versace and Gianfranco Ferre as you will see in my portfolio and an internship at Lucio Vanotti. Currently I am a Fashion designer for Sartorial Monk, Italy & have worked in Mumbai, London & Milan.

As you will browse through my resume, you will come across the various skills that I have acquired in companies and my duties.  My passion lies in making commercially viable garments. It gives me great satisfaction to look after not just the designing of the garment but taking it step by step through the sampling stages to get a perfected sample. Another commendable skill that I would like to put forward is my ability to make accurate technical drawings that can be further used for technical specification charts and collection planning. Conceptual research and then on, detail explorations are another of my commendable skills.

 As part of a team, I’m always a team player. I believe that work is more fruitful when done in a team so that we share the success and overcome the short comings by gaining valuable views from the whole team and not just one. I communicate fluently in English and make it a point to learn new languages where necessary. I adjust well to new environment and work cultures and believe in doing best with what is on my plate. Hence, I'm always up to relocate to explore and learn more.
